Poppy Seed Photography is hosting a Cutest Kid(s) Contest!

This post will fill you in on all of the details you’ll need to know about how to enter, vote, and win!

Submit one photo of your kid(s) to Poppy Seed Photography via email. You have until Friday August 17th to submit your photograph. Your photographs will be added to the contest album on the fan page as soon as they’re received. The sooner you get your picture submitted, the sooner you can start racking up votes! Voting will close on August 24 @ 8 pm CST, and the winner will be announced by August 26th. Once your child/childrens’ photograph is posted, the voting starts! So make sure to tag your picture and tell all of your friends to vote for your photo by “Liking” the photo, and “Liking” the Poppy Seed Photography fan page!

TO ENTER

• Email your recent photo to lisa@poppyseedphoto.com with the subject line “Cutest Kid Contest”.  Please send a photo that has been taken in the last month or so.
• Include your child/childrens’ name(s) and age(s) in the email (first name and age will be posted for contest), as well as your contact information
• All entries will be loaded to the Summer 2012 Cutest Kid Contest album on the Poppy Seed Photography fan page as soon as they are received
• Photos will only be taken until August 17th at 8 pm
• One image per child. (You may submit children separately or in a group)
• Only one prize per family will be given.
• Child/Children must be between the ages of 0 months to 12 years
• No professional photos, please.
• Contest is open to everyone. However, if you live outside a 20 mile radius of Richfield, Minnesota, you must choose a location within 30 miles of Richfield for your prize photo session.

TO VOTE

• To vote for a photo, you must 1) “like” Poppy Seed Photography on Facebook and 2) click “like” on the photo you are voting for (you can only “like” once).
• IMPORTANT: “Like” votes will only be counted by those who have first “Liked” Poppy Seed Photography‘s page. Already a fan? That’ll work! Just vote for your favorite photo(s)! Only one vote per photo allowed.
• Comments are permitted and welcomed, but will not count toward the total number of votes
• The TWO photos with the most “likes” at 8 pm on August 24th will be declared the winners, unless the two top images are from the same family, and then the image with the next highest votes from another family will be given the runner up prize.
• The Summer 2012 Cutest Kid Contest winners will be notified and announced by 9 pm, August 26.
• Share the link to the Poppy Seed Photography Facebook page on your personal Facebook page, and ask your friends and family to go vote for your child/childrens’ image(s). You can post a link to the Poppy Seed Photography page on your profile or by private message by using the “share” link on the bottom left of the fan page. Let them know they will need to “like” the Poppy Seed Photography Facebook page first to be able to vote for your child’s photo.

TO WIN

Grand Prize:

The parent or legal guardian of the child/children in the winning photo with the most “likes” will receive a free portrait session with Poppy Seed Photography ($150 value) and a 16×20 fine art wall print (a $185 value).

Photo session must be booked within 30 days of winning, and completed before October 14th, 2012

Additional prints will be available to purchase at retail price.

Runner Up:

The Parent or legal guardian of the child/children in the winning photo with the 2nd most “likes” will receive a $75 gift certificate to be used with Poppy Seed Photography towards print purchases. The gift certificate must be redeemed before October 14th, 2012.
